Role Overview

Golang Developer (Hourly Contract) — Remote (US) Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Go developer to design, develop, and maintain applications and help improve system performance and engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Go
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver solutions
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and share knowledge
• Optimize existing systems for performance and scalability
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
• Improve development processes and overall engineering practices
• Document system architecture, code, and best practices

Requirements

• Strong experience with Go and application development
• Solid understanding of Go language constructs and best practices
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and distributed systems
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
