Role Overview
Golang Developer at Bright Vision Technologies.
You will design and build high-performance backend services, infrastructure tooling, and cloud-native applications using Go. The work emphasizes latency, concurrency, and operational efficiency, and includes collaborating across multiple teams on a shared codebase.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain production Go services and APIs.
- Translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions.
- Work with cross-functional partners (product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders).
- Participate in code review and design review to raise engineering quality.
- Mentor more junior engineers and contribute to engineering documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years professional software engineering experience, with significant time in Go.
- Strong Go concurrency fundamentals: goroutines, channels, contexts.
- Hands-on experience building production gRPC and/or REST APIs in Go.
- Kubernetes-native development experience: client-go and controller-runtime.
- Experience with relational and key-value data stores.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems and networking fundamentals.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and container-based deployment.
- Strong debugging and performance engineering skills.
- Clear communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Open-source contributions to Go projects.
- Experience writing Kubernetes operators/controllers.
- Familiarity with eBPF, service mesh, or other low-level systems programming.
- Exposure to security-sensitive Go projects (cryptography/auth).
- Familiarity with WASM, Tinygo, or embedded systems.
