• Salary: $100,000–$165,000 annually
• Experience required: 6+ years

What you’ll do

• Design and implement performant backend services and APIs in Go with a focus on concurrency, error handling, and resource management.
• Build cloud-native Go applications using Kubernetes-native patterns/libraries, including module boundaries and operational hooks.
• Develop CLI tools, Kubernetes controllers, and custom operators for internal platforms with safe reconciliation logic.
• Implement gRPC and REST APIs with observability and security.
• Profile and optimize Go services (memory, GC, goroutines) using measurement and data-driven improvements.
• Integrate with messaging systems (Kafka, NATS) and data stores (PostgreSQL, Redis, etcd).
• Write unit, integration, and benchmark tests.
• Add structured logging, metrics, and distributed tracing to support operators and on-call engineers.
• Lead code reviews, uphold engineering standards, and mentor junior/mid-level engineers.
• Contribute to shared internal Go libraries and reusable platform tooling.
• Maintain thorough technical documentation (architecture, decisions, runbooks, configuration, and diagrams).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering.
