Role: Golang Developer

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Golang Developer to design and build high-performance backend services and cloud-native applications using Go.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement performant backend services and APIs in Go, with strong focus on concurrency, error handling, and resource management
• Build cloud-native applications using Go and Kubernetes-native libraries, leveraging idiomatic Go and clear module boundaries
• Develop CLI tools, Kubernetes controllers, and custom operators for internal platforms (including safe long-running reconciliation logic)
• Implement gRPC and REST APIs with observability and security
• Profile and optimize Go services (memory/GC/goroutines) using measurement and data-driven improvements
• Integrate with messaging and data systems, including Kafka/NATS and data stores such as PostgreSQL/Redis/etcd
• Create comprehensive automated tests: unit, integration, and benchmark tests
• Add structured logging, metrics, and distributed tracing for operational visibility
• Lead code/design reviews and help raise engineering standards
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation (architecture, decisions, runbooks, operational procedures)
• Evolve and contribute to internal Go libraries and shared platform tooling/patterns

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline
• Strong Go expertise and systems knowledge (e.g., networking, containers, distributed systems)

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Kubernetes operators/controllers and internal platform tooling
• Demonstrated production experience with performance tuning and observability
• Track record of shipping meaningful work and mentoring others
