Golang Developer

Role Overview

Bright Vision Technologies is hiring a Golang Developer for a 100% remote (Continental United States), full-time direct W2 role as part of its in-house SOW engagement.

You will design and build high-performance backend services, infrastructure tooling, and cloud-native applications in Go, where latency, concurrency, and operational efficiency are first-class concerns.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement performant backend services and APIs in Go, with strong focus on:
  • Concurrency, error handling, and resource management
• Build cloud-native applications using Go with idiomatic patterns, well-defined module boundaries, and operational hooks for easy deployment and operation
• Develop CLI tools, Kubernetes controllers, and custom operators for internal platforms, including:
  • clear command surfaces, robust error handling, and safe reconciliation logic for long-running environments
• Implement gRPC and REST APIs with observability and security
• Work with cross-functional partners (product, design, engineering, operations, business) to translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions
• Raise the bar through code review, design review, and mentorship of more junior engineers

Requirements

• 5+ years experience (inferred from posting)
• Strong hands-on Go experience
• Broad systems knowledge including:
  • network programming
  • container ecosystems
  • distributed systems design
• Strong engineering discipline, clear communication, and a track record of shipping production-quality work
• Ability to pass a mandatory technical coding assessment

Nice to Haves

• Experience building Kubernetes-native libraries, controllers, and operators (implied by responsibilities)
• Strong observability and security practices for APIs (implied by responsibilities)
