Golang Developer

Role Overview

Bright Vision Technologies is hiring a Golang Developer for a 100% remote full-time, direct W2 role (in-house Statement of Work engagement). You will design and build high-performance backend services and cloud-native applications using Go, with an emphasis on latency, concurrency, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement performant backend services and APIs in Go, with strong focus on:
  • Concurrency, error handling, and resource management
• Build cloud-native applications using Go and Kubernetes-native libraries, applying:
  • idiomatic Go patterns
  • clear module boundaries
  • operational hooks that make services easy to deploy and run
• Develop CLI tools, Kubernetes controllers, and custom operators for internal platforms, including:
  • robust error handling
  • clear command surfaces
  • safe reconciliation logic for long-running environments
• Implement and maintain gRPC and REST APIs with observability and security
• Translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions in collaboration with product, design, engineering, operations, and stakeholders
• Raise the team’s engineering bar through code review, design review, and mentorship

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience
• Strong hands-on expertise in Go for backend/system-level development
• Broad systems knowledge including network programming, container ecosystems, and distributed systems design
• Ability to ship production-grade work and communicate clearly
• Technical coding assessment is mandatory
• Must be willing to work directly as a full-time W2 employee (no C2C/1099/third-party)

Nice to Have

• Experience building Kubernetes operators/controllers and internal platform tooling
