Golang Developer

Role Overview

Bright Vision Technologies is hiring an experienced Golang Developer to design and build high-performance backend services, infrastructure tooling, and cloud-native applications using Go. The role emphasizes latency, concurrency, and operational efficiency, and you’ll contribute to a shared codebase across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement performant backend services and APIs in Go, with a focus on concurrency, error handling, and resource management
• Build cloud-native applications in Go using Kubernetes-native libraries and idiomatic Go patterns
• Develop CLI tools, Kubernetes controllers, and custom operators for internal platforms, including safe long-running reconciliation logic
• Implement gRPC and REST APIs with appropriate observability and security
• Translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions and raise the bar through code review, design review, and mentorship
• Coordinate with cross-functional partners (product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders)

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience
• Strong, hands-on expertise in Go for backend/system programming
• Solid systems knowledge (e.g., network programming, container ecosystems, distributed systems design)
• Strong engineering discipline, communication, and production-shipping track record
• Ability to pass a mandatory technical coding assessment

Nice to Have / Implied Strengths

• Experience with Kubernetes controllers/operators and operational tooling
• Experience designing gRPC/REST services with observability and security

• Full-time, direct W2 employment with Bright Vision Technologies (no C2C, 1099, or third-party arrangements)
• 100% remote for candidates in the Continental United States
• Long-term, multi-year engagement aligned to Bright Vision’s in-house SOW delivery roadmap

Salary

• $100k–$150k per year (base salary commensurate with experience) + benefits
