Golang Developer

Role Overview

You will be an experienced Golang Developer designing and building high-performance backend services, infrastructure tooling, and cloud-native applications using Go. The work emphasizes latency, concurrency, and operational efficiency, and involves contributing to a shared codebase across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement performant backend services and APIs in Go, with strong concurrency, error handling, and resource management
• Build cloud-native applications in Go using Kubernetes-native libraries and idiomatic Go patterns
• Create CLI tools, Kubernetes controllers, and custom operators for internal platforms, including reconciliation logic for long-running environments
• Implement gRPC and REST APIs with observability and security
• Translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions in collaboration with product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders
• Raise engineering quality through code reviews, design reviews, and mentorship

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a backend/infrastructure-focused developer
• Strong expertise in Go
• Broad systems knowledge, including network programming, container ecosystems, and distributed systems design
• Clear communication and strong engineering discipline; proven track record of shipping production-ready work
• Must be willing to complete a technical coding assessment

Nice-to-Haves / Preferred

• Experience working with Kubernetes controllers/operators and building operational tooling

• Location: 100% remote, Continental United States
• Type: Full-time, direct W2 (in-house Bright Vision Technologies SOW engagement; no C2C/1099/third-party)
• Visa: No new H1B sponsorship; H1B transfers welcome
• Compensation: $100K–$150K base salary plus benefits
