Golang Developer

Role Overview

Bright Vision Technologies is hiring a Golang Developer for a 100% remote (Continental US) full-time, direct W2 role. You will design and build high-performance backend services, infrastructure tooling, and cloud-native applications using Go, working with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement performant backend services and APIs in Go, focusing on concurrency, error handling, and resource management
• Build cloud-native applications in Go using Kubernetes-native libraries and idiomatic Go practices
• Develop CLI tools, Kubernetes controllers, and custom operators with safe reconciliation logic for long-running environments
• Implement and operate gRPC and REST APIs with observability and security
• Profile and optimize Go applications for performance and reliability
• Contribute to a shared codebase; raise engineering standards through code review, design review, and mentorship

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Go developer
• Strong Go expertise with systems knowledge, including:
  • Network programming
  • Container ecosystem
  • Distributed systems design
• Ability to translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions
• Clear communication and proven experience shipping production work

Nice-to-Haves (implied by responsibilities)

• Experience with Kubernetes controllers/operators and reconciliation patterns
• Strong understanding of observability and secure API design
