Golang Developer

Role Overview

Bright Vision Technologies is hiring a Golang Developer for a 100% remote (Continental United States) full-time, direct W2 in-house SOW engagement. The role focuses on designing and building high-performance backend services and cloud-native applications using Go, with strong attention to latency, concurrency, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement performant backend services and APIs in Go with emphasis on:
  • concurrency
  • error handling
  • resource management
• Build cloud-native Go applications using Kubernetes-native libraries and idiomatic Go patterns, including:
  • well-defined module boundaries
  • operational hooks for easy deployment and operation
• Develop CLI tools, Kubernetes controllers, and custom operators for internal platforms, including:
  • clear command interfaces
  • robust error handling
  • reconciliation logic safe for long-running environments
• Implement gRPC and REST APIs with observability and security
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions
• Raise the bar through code reviews, design reviews, and mentorship of more junior engineers

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience
• Strong hands-on Go expertise
• Broad systems knowledge, including:
  • network programming
  • container ecosystems
  • distributed system design
• Strong engineering discipline and clear communication
• Track record of shipping production-quality work
• Technical coding assessment is mandatory

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience building operational tooling and Kubernetes-native components (controllers/operators)
• Experience with observability and secure API development

Contracting / Visa / Work Model

• Full-time W2 employment directly with Bright Vision Technologies (no C2C/1099/third-party)
• No new H1B sponsorship available; H1B transfers are welcomed
• Long-term, multi-year engagement aligned to the company’s SOW roadmap
