Role: Golang Developer

Join Bright Vision Technologies as a 100% remote, full-time (W2) Golang Developer supporting an in-house Statement of Work (SOW) delivery roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement performant backend services and APIs in Go, with emphasis on:
  • concurrency
  • error handling
  • resource management
• Build cloud-native applications in Go using Kubernetes-native libraries, applying:
  • idiomatic Go patterns
  • clean module boundaries
  • operational hooks for easy deployment and operation
• Develop CLI tools, Kubernetes controllers, and custom operators for internal platforms, including:
  • clear command interfaces
  • robust error handling
  • safe reconciliation logic for long-running environments
• Implement gRPC and REST APIs with observability and security considerations
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners (product, design, engineering, operations, and business) to turn ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions
• Raise the bar via code review, design review, and mentorship of more junior engineers

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience
• Strong Go expertise with solid systems knowledge (latency, concurrency, operational efficiency)
• Experience designing distributed systems and networked services
• Track record of shipping production-grade work
• Willingness to participate in mandatory technical coding assessments

Nice-to-haves

• Broad experience with container ecosystems and distributed system design
• Experience with Kubernetes controllers/operators and long-running reconciliation patterns
