Golang Developer

Role Overview

Bright Vision Technologies is hiring a Golang Developer for a 100% remote (Continental US), full-time W2 in-house SOW engagement. You’ll design and build high-performance backend services, infrastructure tooling, and cloud-native applications using Go, with a strong focus on latency, concurrency, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement performant backend services and APIs in Go, emphasizing concurrency, error handling, and resource management
• Build cloud-native applications in Go using Kubernetes-native libraries, following idiomatic Go practices and clear module boundaries
• Develop CLI tools, Kubernetes controllers, and custom operators for internal platforms with safe long-running reconciliation logic
• Implement and maintain gRPC and REST APIs with observability and security
• Work with cross-functional partners (product, design, engineering, operations, and business) to turn ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions
• Raise the bar through code review, design review, and mentorship of more junior engineers

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on engineering experience
• Strong Go expertise
• Broad systems knowledge, including:
  • network programming
  • container ecosystems
  • distributed system design
• Ability to ship production-ready work with strong engineering discipline and clear communication
• Must be willing to work directly as a full-time W2 employee (no C2C/1099/third-party)
• Technical coding assessment is mandatory

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience building Kubernetes-native tooling such as controllers/operators
• Demonstrated experience with observability/security for APIs
