About the role
Role Overview
Bright Vision Technologies is hiring a Golang Developer for a 100% remote (Continental United States) full-time, direct W2 role. You will design and build high-performance backend services, infrastructure tooling, and cloud-native applications using Go, collaborating across product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement performant backend services and APIs in Go, with emphasis on:
- concurrency
- error handling
- resource management
- Build cloud-native applications using Go and Kubernetes-native libraries, applying:
- idiomatic Go patterns
- clear module boundaries
- operational hooks for easy deployment and running
- Develop CLI tools, Kubernetes controllers, and custom operators for internal platforms, including:
- robust error handling
- reconciliation logic suitable for long-running environments
- Implement gRPC and REST APIs with appropriate observability and security
- Maintain strong engineering practices via code review, design review, and mentorship
- Translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience
- Strong Go expertise
- Broad systems knowledge, including:
- network programming
- container ecosystems
- distributed system design
- Track record of shipping production-quality work
- Strong communication and engineering discipline
- Willingness to work as a full-time W2 employee (no C2C/1099/third-party)
- Technical coding assessment required
Nice to Have
- Experience with Kubernetes controllers/operators and infrastructure tooling
