Golang Developer

Role Overview

Bright Vision Technologies is hiring a Golang Developer for a 100% remote (Continental United States) full-time, direct W2 role. You will design and build high-performance backend services, infrastructure tooling, and cloud-native applications using Go, collaborating across product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement performant backend services and APIs in Go, with emphasis on:
  • concurrency
  • error handling
  • resource management
• Build cloud-native applications using Go and Kubernetes-native libraries, applying:
  • idiomatic Go patterns
  • clear module boundaries
  • operational hooks for easy deployment and running
• Develop CLI tools, Kubernetes controllers, and custom operators for internal platforms, including:
  • robust error handling
  • reconciliation logic suitable for long-running environments
• Implement gRPC and REST APIs with appropriate observability and security
• Maintain strong engineering practices via code review, design review, and mentorship
• Translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience
• Strong Go expertise
• Broad systems knowledge, including:
  • network programming
  • container ecosystems
  • distributed system design
• Track record of shipping production-quality work
• Strong communication and engineering discipline
• Willingness to work as a full-time W2 employee (no C2C/1099/third-party)
• Technical coding assessment required

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kubernetes controllers/operators and infrastructure tooling
