Golang Developer (Hourly Contract)

Location: Remote (United States) Commitment: 10–40 hours/week Compensation: $30–$80/hour

Role Overview

Design, develop, and maintain applications using Go, working with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions and improve engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications in Go
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver solutions
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and share knowledge
• Optimize existing systems for performance and scalability
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
• Improve development processes and engineering practices
• Document system architecture, code, and best practices

Requirements

• Strong experience in Go programming and application development
• Solid understanding of Go language constructs and best practices
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and distributed systems
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field)
