Role Overview

Senior Software Engineer (Contract, Remote) You’ll help train next-generation AI systems by applying strong software engineering skills to improve how models learn, reason, and perform using high-quality inputs. Prior AI experience is not required; strong domain and engineering expertise matter most.

Responsibilities

Build and deliver features and improvements for production software systems
Debug complex issues and implement maintainable solutions
Refactor and evolve existing codebases
Optimize for performance and scalability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment
Participate in rigorous code reviews and contribute to software best practices

Requirements

Proficiency in Python3, Java, Rust, or TypeScript
Strong asset: experience with C++ or Go
Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and performance tuning
Proven experience delivering maintainable code through feature development and refactoring
Track record of optimizing software for performance and scalability
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with large-scale distributed codebases
Familiarity with modern AI/ML systems (plus, not required)
