Go Developer (Remote)

Role Overview

Contract Go Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and APIs in Go.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize backend services in Go to improve performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure compliance with architectural guidelines and security protocols.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and improve system stability.

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in Go (Golang) with at least 2 years of hands-on development experience.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Strong understanding of concurrency, data structures, and algorithms in Go.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Docker containerization.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience supporting real-time data processing systems and user-facing applications (implied by opportunity description).
