About the role

Role Overview

Contract Go Developer (Remote) to design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and APIs using Go (Golang).

Key Responsibilities

Develop and optimize backend services in Go to improve performance and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Write clean, efficient, maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to architectural guidelines and security protocols.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and improve system stability.

Required Qualifications

Go proficiency with at least 2 years of hands-on development experience.
Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
Strong understanding of concurrency, data structures, and algorithms in Go.
Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker).

Experience working with real-time data processing and user-facing applications.
Ability to collaborate across time zones in a remote, contract setting.
