Go Developer (Remote)

Role Overview

Contract Go Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and APIs in Go, working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize backend services in Go to improve performance and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver solutions
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable Go code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews to ensure alignment with architectural and security guidelines
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimize downtime

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in Go (Golang) with at least 2 years of hands-on development experience
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
• Strong understanding of concurrency, data structures, and algorithms in Go
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of a cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker)

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience supporting real-time data processing or user-facing applications (implied by opportunity context)
