Role Overview
Go Developer (Remote) — contract role to design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and APIs using Go (Golang).
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize backend services in Go to improve performance and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable code following best practices
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to architectural guidelines and security protocols
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimize downtime
Required Qualifications
- Go (Golang) proficiency with 2+ years of hands-on development experience
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
- Strong understanding of concurrency, data structures, and algorithms in Go
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure and Docker (containerization)
Nice to Have
- Experience building high-performance systems for real-time data processing and user-facing applications
