About the role

Role Overview

Go Developer (Hourly Contract, Remote) Work 10–40 hours/week designing and delivering backend systems using Go.

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable backend systems using Go (GoLang)
Build and optimize RESTful APIs and manage API Gateway configurations
Integrate third-party APIs to extend system capabilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize system performance
Maintain clear documentation for APIs and backend systems
Communicate technical concepts effectively across teams

Requirements

Strong experience in GoLang or backend engineering principles
Expertise with REST APIs, API Gateway, and API integrations
Solid understanding of distributed systems and scalable architectures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability
Experience contributing to complex backend/system-level projects
