Go Developer - AI & ML

Role Overview

You will develop and maintain scalable cloud-native software that enables AI/ML workloads. This fully remote, international role combines Go development, machine learning infrastructure, Kubernetes, and distributed systems to improve how AI/ML services are deployed, managed, and scaled.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable services supporting AI and machine learning.
• Build and optimize efficient Go code for ML components within a cloud platform.
• Improve AI/ML-related services for reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Apply Go concurrency patterns (goroutines, channels) to optimize runtime performance.
• Build, test, and optimize solutions using modern engineering practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Improve code quality via refactoring, documentation, and optimization.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across distributed cloud environments.
• Stay current with Go and cloud ecosystem developments and contribute to AI/ML platform evolution.

Requirements

• 4+ years professional software development experience; Go preferred.
• Strong experience with cloud technologies and distributed architectures.
• Go development experience.
• Proven experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience deploying machine learning solutions in production.
• Experience developing Kubernetes Operators.
• Strong API design skills (RESTful APIs).
• Ability to write clear technical documentation and communicate effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent experience).

Nice to Have

• Experience with asynchronous Agile teams.
• Experience building/training machine learning models.
• Familiarity with WebSockets, microservices, and distributed systems.
• 2+ years experience with Python or R.
• Web framework experience: Gorilla, Gin, or Echo.
• Previous experience in fully remote organizations.
