As Global Employee Relations (ER) Manager at Optro, you will define, manage, and uphold global employee relations standards. You will help ensure Optro’s culture is supported with consistent practices across international jurisdictions while partnering closely with People Business Partners (PBPs) and leaders as the company scales into new markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • ER Standardization & Execution: Implement and manage global employee relations workflows to create a consistent, scalable framework across regions.

Requirements

  • Global ER experience with strong knowledge of international labor laws.
  • Investigative rigor with empathy, objectivity, and discretion.
  • Regional proficiency across US, EMEA, and APAC; UK grievance/disciplinary experience and comfort navigating consultation processes (e.g., Works Councils).
  • Exceptional judgment in ambiguous situations, balancing legal risk with cultural impact.
  • Strong communication skills to translate complex legal requirements into actionable guidance and to coach or deliver difficult feedback to leaders.
  • SaaS/tech background in a fast-growing environment.
