Global DevOps Team Lead

Role overview

Join CluedIn as a Global DevOps Team Lead to drive the reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of an Azure-based SaaS platform. You’ll combine strategic leadership with hands-on technical ownership, shaping global scaling and ensuring world-class customer service. Reporting to the CTO, you’ll lead operational performance across the cloud platform.

Key missions

• Own platform reliability and scalability for the Azure-based SaaS platform.
• Lead Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation initiatives to reduce manual operational overhead.
• Build and lead the DevOps/Operations team by mentoring and developing talent, fostering ownership, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Drive improvements in platform resilience and global scaling.

Requirements

• Strong technical credibility and ability to lead from the front.
• Proven experience leading DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Infrastructure teams.
• Deep hands-on expertise with Kubernetes in large-scale production environments.
• Microsoft Azure experience operating and managing production cloud environments.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, Bicep, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of monitoring and observability.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of cloud networking and security.
• Demonstrated success managing complex incidents and driving operational improvements.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Commercial awareness balancing reliability, performance, and cost optimisation.
