Role Overview

General Counsel (Contract, Remote) for a US-based legal professional.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive legal analysis across a variety of US law topics and provide nuanced guidance.
• Perform in-depth legal research to support project objectives and ensure accuracy.
• Draft, review, and edit legal materials including:
  • memoranda, opinions, contracts, and other related documents
• Provide structured feedback on legal texts for clarity, accuracy, and best-practice alignment.
• Collaborate remotely with multidisciplinary teams to refine project deliverables and handle complex legal scenarios.
• Perform content quality assurance, flagging errors, inconsistencies, or ambiguities in legal documents.

Requirements

• Active license to practice law in the United States.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Proven ability in legal analysis, legal research, and legal drafting across varied legal subjects.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication.
• Demonstrated experience in legal content review.
• Track record of effective remote collaboration on multidisciplinary projects.
