Role Overview

Contract General Counsel (Remote) supporting contract negotiation, drafting, and contract management best practices.

Responsibilities

Create, review, and refine contract negotiation playbooks based on diverse real-world scenarios and company requirements.
Draft, analyze, and annotate a range of commercial agreements, ensuring clarity, precision, and compliance with applicable standards.
Provide expert commentary on contract management best practices and negotiation strategies.
Curate and supply non-confidential, eligible transaction materials to support project documentation objectives.
Evaluate and optimize existing contract templates to improve efficiency and risk mitigation.
Collaborate with the micro1 team to ensure materials meet project guidelines and AI-training needs.
Deliver high-quality written and verbal feedback to improve system understanding and outputs.

Current or prior experience as General Counsel, Deputy General Counsel, or Assistant General Counsel, with a strong focus on contract negotiation playbooks.
Demonstrated expertise in commercial contract drafting, negotiation, and management in corporate environments.
Exceptional written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.
Knowledge of industry-standard contract review and risk assessment practices.
Experience developing and/or using contract negotiation playbooks for companies.
Familiarity with document-driven project assignments, including sourcing and submitting eligible materials.
Ability to work independently and produce concise, actionable insights for AI training purposes.
