About the role
Role overview
You’ll join Wooclap as a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer. Working in a cross-functional product squad, you’ll help shape how users discover, adopt, and continuously use Wooclap—owning features end-to-end from technical design to production.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain fullstack features used daily by teachers and students.
- Partner closely with Product and Design to simplify complex user flows.
- Take part in architecture decisions and own outcomes end-to-end.
- Deliver maintainable, clean, and tested code.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong experience as a fullstack engineer in a SaaS or product-driven environment.
- Experience working in cross-functional squads/product teams.
- Product-first mindset (not feature-first).
- Ability to own problems, not just implement specs.
- Clear communication with PMs, designers, and engineers.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in high-growth SaaS / B2B product environments.
- Experience with non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- Experience building and/or contributing to a design system or shared frontend components.
- Solid experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, etc.).
- Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs.
- Experience with real-time systems (e.g., WebSockets/events/live updates).
- Mentoring or technical leadership experience.
Location / work setup
- Full remote with location in/around Paris, FR.
