About the role

Role overview

You’ll join Wooclap as a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer. Working in a cross-functional product squad, you’ll help shape how users discover, adopt, and continuously use Wooclap—owning features end-to-end from technical design to production.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain fullstack features used daily by teachers and students.
Partner closely with Product and Design to simplify complex user flows.
Take part in architecture decisions and own outcomes end-to-end.
Deliver maintainable, clean, and tested code.

Requirements

5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong experience as a fullstack engineer in a SaaS or product-driven environment.
Experience working in cross-functional squads/product teams.
Product-first mindset (not feature-first).
Ability to own problems, not just implement specs.
Clear communication with PMs, designers, and engineers.

Nice-to-haves

Experience in high-growth SaaS / B2B product environments.
Experience with non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB).
Experience building and/or contributing to a design system or shared frontend components.
Solid experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, etc.).
Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs.
Experience with real-time systems (e.g., WebSockets/events/live updates).
Mentoring or technical leadership experience.

Full remote with location in/around Paris, FR.
