Fullstack Software Engineer

Role overview

Bloom Growth™ is hiring a Fullstack Software Engineer for a 100% remote team. You will help build and evolve the systems powering the company’s web-based platform, partnering with engineering, product, and design to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain product features across the React + TypeScript frontend and C# backend
• Design and contribute to APIs focused on performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Write and optimize MySQL queries; support database performance improvements
• Implement caching strategies (e.g., Redis) and monitor application health using AWS tools (e.g., CloudWatch)
• Participate in code reviews, unit/integration testing, and collaborative problem-solving
• Work with product and design to align solutions with user needs and business goals
• Maintain a clean, scalable, and well-documented codebase

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in fullstack or backend software engineering
• Proficiency in C# and/or React with TypeScript
• Experience with MySQL (including schema design and query optimization)
• Familiarity with AWS tools (e.g., CloudWatch) and cloud environments
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively remotely
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related) or equivalent experience

Preferred qualifications

• Background job processing tools (e.g., Hangfire)
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• ORM frameworks (e.g., Entity Framework, NHibernate)
• Open-source or personal projects showing technical curiosity

Compensation & benefits

• Base salary: $80,000–$105,000 USD (depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location)
