Fullstack or Backend Developer İstanbul - Remote Full-Time

Role Overview

Fimple is hiring a Full Stack Developer or Backend Developer to help build and maintain high-performance, scalable applications for next-generation digital banking experiences. This is a fully remote role in an international, fast-paced product environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and development teams to ideate and design solutions
• Develop client-side and server-side architecture for scalable and secure applications
• Build responsive, user-friendly frontend interfaces
• Create and maintain databases, backend services, and APIs
• Ensure performance, reliability, and security of applications
• Troubleshoot, debug, and continuously improve existing systems
• Run automated and manual tests to ensure product quality
• Implement security and data protection best practices across development layers
• Follow mobile-responsive design approaches
• Write clear, maintainable technical documentation
• Partner with data teams to optimize data workflows and improve platform intelligence

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack or Backend-focused developer
• Banking/financial services experience in at least one area: Credits, Accounting, Core Banking, Transfers (SWIFT/EFT/SEPA), Treasury, or Financial Analysis
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Strong frontend fundamentals: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience with modern JS frameworks: React, Angular, or Vue
• Proficiency with server-side languages/frameworks: .NET, Java, Node.js, or Python
• Familiarity with databases: MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB
• Understanding of RESTful API design and integration patterns
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a remote setting

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience integrating with financial systems and domain-specific banking workflows (implied by domain requirement)
