About the role

Role Overview

Fullstack Engineer at Windward Labs—your first technical hire. You’ll work directly with the founders to shape engineering processes and build production systems that support onchain products moving hundreds of millions of dollars through Ethereum.

Responsibilities

Deliver clean, scalable, and maintainable code across the product portfolio
Collaborate with customers to create delightful experiences
Build and maintain onchain infrastructure and applications
Work on products such as:
- Farcaster Mini-Apps: develop Farcaster-compatible products and maintain shared infrastructure across apps
- Ethereum Marketplaces: build scalable indexers/data stores, create intuitive frontends, and integrate secure smart contracts for high-volume token trading

Requirements

5+ years of professional software engineering experience in a team environment
Experience maintaining high-availability websites handling millions of visitors per month
Track record delivering production applications and solving problems independently

Nice to Haves

Experience with onchain products, indexers/data stores, and smart contract integrations

Tech Stack

Backend: Node.js, Postgres, Redis, Solidity
Frontend: TypeScript, React
Infrastructure/Deploy: Heroku, Vercel, Ethereum
Design: Figma, v0

Work Style & Compensation

US timezone friendly with most weeks in Pacific Time

Salary: $180k–$200k USD plus 0.5%–1.5% equity
