Role overview
Fullstack Developer (React/Node.js) — Hourly contract (10–40 hours/week), remote. You will design and own end-to-end fullstack systems that power core product workflows.
Responsibilities
- Design and own end-to-end fullstack systems for core product workflows
- Architect and build scalable backend services and APIs with strong reliability
- Develop frontend interfaces using React with a focus on performance and quality
- Own data modeling and schema design, including database performance optimization
- Collaborate with product and design to translate ambiguous requirements into solutions
- Maintain engineering quality via code reviews, testing, and best practices
- Debug production issues and improve reliability and observability
Requirements
- Strong experience building and owning production fullstack systems
- TypeScript proficiency across frontend and backend
- Strong backend expertise with Node.js
- Production-grade experience building with React
- Strong understanding of PostgreSQL and relational data modeling
- Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs at scale
- Familiarity with AWS (or similar) and modern DevOps practices
