Role: Fullstack Engineer (Backend-focused)

Join Atticus’ Representation pod, a cross-functional team of engineers, product managers, and designers building core tools that help law firms deliver consistent, high-quality client experiences.

What you’ll do

Design, build, and operate Atticus web applications with a focus on performance, modularity, extensibility, and reliability.
Partner with product and design to evaluate and refine product details and acceptance criteria.
Architect, implement, review, and test code collaboratively.
Use your expertise to multiply team impact and help deliver excellent product and services.
Work across the stack with a backend focus, partnering with all departments as the platform grows.

Requirements

3+ years building production full-stack applications with modern languages/frameworks.
Experience building and optimizing React-based user interfaces.
Experience designing and operating reliable, scalable backend systems and APIs.
Ability to partner closely with product and design to clarify requirements and deliver user-focused solutions.
Strong judgment around code quality, including when/how to test.
Comfort owning services in production, including deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

Nice-to-haves

Experience with GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and Golang.
Experience in industries with complex, long-standing workflows (e.g., legal, healthcare, financial services).
Experience evolving systems as teams and traffic scale.
Interest in improving internal tooling and developer experience.
