FULL TIME: Software Engineer Position - React and Rest

Role Overview

Join Yooli as a Senior Software Engineer to help build and optimize backend and database systems supporting healthcare technology. You’ll collaborate closely with the Chief Engineer and CTO to develop secure, scalable services and deliver new backend capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust backend services using NestJS and Node.js with strong performance and security.
• Design and manage REST API endpoints to optimize interactions with an SQL database.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deploy new features, focusing on backend logic and database performance.
• Ensure backend services are scalable, secure, and responsive.
• Uphold data protection standards and implement industry-leading security measures.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high engineering standards and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 7+ years experience with:
  • React and React Vite
  • REST API development
  • Strong hands-on SQL experience
  • Prisma for database management
• 5+ years REST API development with NestJS.
• Expertise in NestJS, Node.js, REST APIs, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience building single-page applications with ReactJS.
• Strong TypeScript knowledge and OOP principles.
• Solid understanding of common data structures.
• Experience with cloud hosting services (preferably AWS) and integrating them into workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in collaborative remote work.
• Portfolio demonstrating relevant projects.
