Full-Stack Web Engineer (Remote, Full-Time) [AS312]

Role Overview

You’ll be a Full-Stack Web Engineer (remote, full-time) working on a map-centric, data-heavy product. The role has a slight frontend focus, with most time spent building the core user interface, while also supporting backend development alongside the team’s AI engineer.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the core UI, including:
  • map interactions
  • AI chat interface
  • data tables
  • file-upload flows
• Create map-centric interfaces that can render large feature sets.
• Display tabular results from spatial queries.
• Implement file upload flows within the product.
• Support backend development, including:
  • API design
  • server-side persistence
  • collaboration with the AI engineer
• Contribute to the AI-powered chat experience, focusing on latency and streaming partial results.
• Deliver measurable deliverables from onboarding.

Requirements

• 5+ years of TypeScript full-stack engineering experience with:
  • React (frontend)
  • Node.js (backend)
• 2+ years building map-centric frontends with Mapbox GL, or equivalent vector-tile mapping experience (MapLibre, Leaflet, deck.gl).
• 3+ years building data-heavy UI in production (tables, editors, upload flows).
• 4+ years designing backend services against Postgres, including:
  • API design
  • typesafe query layers
  • authentication & authorization
• Experience with Kysely, Prisma, or similar typesafe query layers.
• Senior-level experience (5+ years overall).

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with geospatial data.
• 1+ year visualizing large datasets in the browser via vector tiles (or similar).
• 1+ year building chat and streaming interfaces.
• 2+ years with serverless AWS.
• Understanding AI interface product challenges (latency, streaming partial results).

Working Hours (Fixed Shifts)

• 12:00 PM – 9:30 PM IST (Summer)
• 1:00 PM – 10:30 PM IST (Winter)
• No weekend work
