About the role
Role Overview
Full Stack Web Developer for the Engineering Systems team. Reporting to the Head of Engineering Systems, you will support ongoing projects and expand capabilities by building scripts, API integrations, and modern web applications. This is a remote-based role with collaboration across a global team of engineering specialists.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scripts and API integrations across CAD, PDM, and related engineering platforms
- Build and enhance full-stack web applications using Node.js to support business needs
- Create and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate processes and support existing applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver engineering systems projects
- Own development activities and contribute proactively as part of the team
- Support development process improvements (e.g., version control and testing frameworks)
- Work with databases and perform SQL-related tasks for data management
- Use Autodesk Forge and other Autodesk platforms to build integrations and custom solutions
- Provide guidance, training, and support to team members when needed
- Identify system/tool/process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
- 4+ years experience as a Full Stack Developer
- Strong experience with Node.js development
- Solid experience with PowerShell scripting
- Proficiency with REST APIs and modern web technologies (HTML, CSS)
- Experience with testing frameworks, code review, and release management
- Working knowledge of SQL and database management
- Experience with Autodesk platforms, applications, and their APIs
- Familiarity with PDM/PLM systems or Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
- Knowledge of Python is a plus
