Full Stack Web Developer Intern

Role Overview

Full Stack Web Developer Intern (Remote / Work from home, Immediate start, 2–6 months) Work with the founders, lead developer, and UI/UX team to build new platforms from scratch—especially AlgorithmGuru.in.

Responsibilities

Frontend

• Build responsive, fast-loading web pages using React.js / Next.js, HTML5, and CSS
• Apply modern frontend practices to deliver clean product interfaces

Backend & APIs

• Develop backend APIs using Python (Django/FastAPI) or Node.js depending on project needs
• Design database and integrate APIs for student profiles, assessments, assignments, content, and user activity

AlgorithmGuru.in Coding Platform

• Help students write, run, and test Python code directly in the website

Secure Code Execution Prototype

• Assist in creating a safe execution flow where student-submitted Python code is sent to the backend, executed with limits, and returned to the frontend

Collaboration, Version Control, Deployment

• Collaborate with UI/UX interns/developers to convert designs into responsive interfaces
• Use GitHub for version control, commits, collaboration, and deployment workflows

Requirements

• Updated resume (single-page preferred) plus:
  • GitHub profile link
  • At least one project link with a live deployed link (if available)
  • Short note describing a project and your specific contribution
• Experience building backend APIs
• Project-oriented mindset (personal projects beyond classroom work)
• Ability to learn quickly across frontend and backend
• Clear communication for remote collaboration and documentation

Nice-to-haves / Additional Requirements

• Docker / containerization experience
• Understanding of secure code execution concepts
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or SQLite
• Experience with code editors like Monaco Editor or CodeMirror
• Interest in AI, algorithms, competitive coding, or edtech
• Responsible use of AI coding assistants (e.g., ChatGPT/Copilot/Gemini/Claude) with ownership of code
