Full Stack Typescript Developer

Role Overview

Ten Mile Square Technologies is seeking a Full-Stack TypeScript Software Engineer to build a loan origination system for a financial services enterprise. You’ll collaborate with experienced tech leads and an Agile product/technology team, with opportunities to learn new technologies while strengthening core software engineering fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a loan origination system using Node.js, Apollo GraphQL, React, Camunda, and AWS services.
• Perform hands-on development across both back-end and front-end components.
• Work with tech leads and the product team to determine functional requirements.
• Maintain clear, accurate, accessible technical documentation.
• Contribute to and promote Agile practices within the team.
• Collaborate with the broader Ten Mile Square team on development and knowledge sharing.
• Represent the company and its customers with integrity and uphold client confidentiality.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Proficiency with GraphQL (Apollo and/or Federated GraphQL preferred).
• Experience developing and deploying on AWS.
• Working knowledge of SQL.
• Working knowledge of React.
• Working knowledge of Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Full application stack experience (React front end through to persistence).
• Participation across the full lifecycle from requirements to post-implementation.
• Linux command line proficiency.
• Curiosity, fast learning, attention to detail, high-integrity work ethic, and strong communication skills.

Nice to Haves / Preferred

• Apollo/Federated GraphQL experience.
• Experience integrating orchestration/workflow using Camunda and loan/origination-domain familiarity (implied by the project).
