About the role

Role Overview

Full-Stack Software Engineer (Node.js & React) for core product workflows. Contract role (10–40 hours/week, remote) where you will design and own end-to-end fullstack systems.

Responsibilities

Design and own end-to-end fullstack systems powering core product workflows
Build scalable backend services and APIs with Node.js and strong architecture
Develop high-performance frontend applications with React
Design and optimize database schemas and queries using PostgreSQL
Collaborate with product and design to deliver production-ready features
Maintain system reliability, observability, and production performance
Debug production issues and implement improvements for scalability and stability

Requirements

Strong experience building production fullstack systems
Strong TypeScript proficiency across frontend and backend
Strong experience with Node.js and backend system design
Strong experience building user-facing applications with React
Strong understanding of PostgreSQL and relational data modeling
Experience with AWS (cloud platforms)
Ownership-driven mindset and strong problem-solving skills
