Role Overview

As a New Grad Full Stack Software Engineer at Jobright.ai, you’ll work across the product stack to build intuitive user experiences, scalable backend systems, and AI-powered features.

Responsibilities

Build user-facing features across frontend and backend systems
Develop responsive web interfaces and reliable backend APIs
Connect product experiences with AI/recommendation capabilities
Design and maintain data models and service integrations
Improve application performance, accessibility, and reliability
Write automated tests and participate in code reviews
Collaborate with design, product, AI, and engineering teams

Qualifications (Required)

Recent graduate or graduating soon in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
Exposure to both frontend and backend development
Familiarity with Git, APIs, databases, and software testing
Strong product sense and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment

Preferred

Experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, Python, or similar technologies
Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
Experience integrating third-party APIs or AI services
Knowledge of responsive design and web performance
Prior internship or substantial full-stack project experience
