About the role

Role Overview

CLEAResult is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer (Magento / PHP) for the Platform Support Team. You will maintain and evolve scalable eCommerce applications, extend Magento capabilities, and integrate complex third-party systems while collaborating across Product, DevOps, and design.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable web applications with a focus on Magento
Extend and customize Magento functionality to meet business requirements
Build and maintain integrations with third-party systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, payment gateways)
Develop and consume APIs, including RESTful and SOAP services
Work with JSON and XML data formats
Contribute across the stack (frontend and backend)
Participate in triage, code reviews, testing, and CI/CD processes
Troubleshoot, optimize, and help scale existing systems

Required Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with Magento
Solid understanding of modern PHP frameworks such as Symfony and/or Laravel
Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs and SOAP services
Hands-on third-party integrations (CRM, ERP, etc.)
Proficiency working with JSON and XML
Ability to troubleshoot complex code and business logic
Ability to work with and query MySQL/MariaDB
Willingness to work across multiple PHP-based platforms as needed
Authorization to work in the US (no sponsorship)
5+ years developing and maintaining Magento and PHP-based applications

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with CMS/PIM platforms (e.g., Drupal, Pimcore, Joomla)
Frontend experience with Vue.js (preferred) or React
Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills
Familiarity with Composer
Docker / virtualized environments
Cloud experience with AWS (Lambda, S3) and/or Azure
CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience

Compensation & Work Location

Remote role (requires being authorized to work in the US without restrictions)
Compensation range: $74,000 - $111,000 USD (up to $110,000 indicated)
