About the role

Role Overview

Join ClickHouse as a Full Stack Software Engineer on the Billing Team. You’ll build the billing platform behind ClickHouse Cloud and integrate it with external systems to deliver a strong customer experience in a remote-friendly environment.

Key Missions / Responsibilities

Design and build critical business processes that are secure, efficient, and highly available.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on business strategy, user needs, and optimal solutions.
Integrate multiple external systems (e.g., billing, metering/usage measurement, logging, monitoring, support) to ensure end-to-end customer experience.
Contribute to shipping large-scope technical projects and improve production reliability through strong debugging.

Requirements

5+ years of relevant software development experience, building cloud-based front-end systems.
Hands-on experience leading and shipping large technical projects with multiple engineers.
Strong problem-solving skills and production debugging expertise.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively across teams.
Demonstrated ownership and accountability.
Experience with billing concepts, including:
- credit card processing
- usage-based billing and metering
- CSP marketplace integrations (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- invoicing, sales tax, auditing, and record-keeping
Expertise with a public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and its Infrastructure as a Service.
Experience building and operating high-scale distributed systems across the full software lifecycle.
