Full Stack Software Developer

Role Overview

Full Stack Software Developer (Microsoft Technology Stack) for a growing Software Development team. This is a W2 contract-to-hire opportunity with strong potential for permanent conversion after ~6 months. The work is primarily remote, with occasional onsite meetings near Knoxville, TN.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop web applications using a Microsoft-based technology stack
• Collaborate with Product Owners/Managers, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to refine requirements and deliver high-quality software
• Work with Quality Assurance to identify and resolve defects from manual and automated testing
• Participate in peer code reviews to ensure coding standards and best practices
• Demonstrate completed features to stakeholders for review and acceptance

Required Skills / Qualifications

• C# and ASP.NET MVC
• React / Redux
• SQL Server with T-SQL
• Experience with SSRS, Tableau, or Power BI
• DevOps practices and tools
• Microsoft Azure web services
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 4+ years of relevant professional experience
• Strong object-oriented programming skills and ability to write maintainable, high-performance code
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and in an Agile team

• Requires U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance

• Primarily remote, but candidates must live within 1 hour driving distance of Knoxville, TN
