Role Overview

Full Stack Node.js Developer (Senior Full Stack Engineer) — remote (United States).

You will work on complex software development, contribute to ongoing project components, and help the team advance best practices while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain complex full-stack software solutions in an ongoing project environment
Code and manage small sections of larger initiatives, collaborating with teammates to deliver on time
Create design specifications and contribute to technical documentation
Implement unit tests and support quality through testing discipline
Adhere to Agile processes and CI/CD/DevOps best practices
Build and monitor microservices and serverless solutions supporting data quality and automation
Ensure professional collaboration across customers and cross-team members

Required Skills

7+ years software development experience
Strong competence in:
- JavaScript/TypeScript
- React
- Node.js
- Next.js
- APIs and scripting in cloud environments
AWS and serverless experience, including:
- AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch (and related services)
Experience designing and building microservices and monitoring them
Working discipline in Agile plus CI/CD and DevOps best practices
Strong OO and computer science fundamentals
Understanding of software development lifecycle and modern engineering practices
Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills

Scrum-minded attitude and experience supporting Agile teams
High analytical ability; experience designing/refactoring scalable, reusable applications and monitoring high-frequency data services
Experience with AWS tooling/services such as KMS, SQS, SNS, OpenSearch, Route 53, VPC
Fluency with CI/CD toolsets including CloudFormation, GitHub, Ansible
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
Infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation or similar approaches
Some exposure to data science, GenAI, and/or machine learning

Education/Certifications

Bachelor’s degree and/or advanced degree(s)
Relevant AWS or other professional certifications
