About the role
Role overview
SWAKIO™ is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to build and maintain scalable web applications from scratch in a fully remote environment. You’ll work across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and cloud deployment to deliver high-quality products.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize full-stack web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies
- Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces with strong performance and cross-browser compatibility
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
- Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and write efficient, scalable queries
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and QA to deliver solutions
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on cloud platforms while following security and best coding practices
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of React.js, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Experience with Node.js plus Express.js or NestJS
- Good understanding of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
- Experience with REST APIs, Git, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Familiarity with authentication, security, CI/CD, and Agile development practices
Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of professional full-stack development experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT or related field (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
