Full Stack Engineer

Role Overview

SWAKIO is hiring a Full-Stack Engineer (Full-Stack Developer) to build scalable web applications from scratch. This is a 100% remote role where you’ll deliver end-to-end features across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and cloud deployments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize full-stack web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies
• Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces with strong performance and cross-browser compatibility
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and write efficient, scalable queries
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and QA to deliver high-quality solutions
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on cloud platforms, following security and best coding practices

Requirements

• 2–3+ years of professional full-stack development experience
• Strong knowledge of React.js, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Experience with Node.js and Express.js or NestJS
• Good understanding of MongoDB and/or PostgreSQL (or MySQL)
• Experience with REST APIs, Git, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with authentication, security, CI/CD, and Agile development practices
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Nice to Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred)
