Full Stack Engineer

Role overview

SWAKIO™ is hiring a Full Stack Engineer to build and maintain scalable web applications end-to-end. This is a 100% remote role focused on modern frontend/backend development, REST APIs, databases, and cloud deployment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize full-stack web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies
• Build responsive, high-performance, cross-browser user interfaces
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and write efficient, scalable queries
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and QA to deliver quality features
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications in cloud environments, following security and best coding practices

Requirements

• 2–3+ years of professional full-stack development experience
• Strong knowledge of React.js, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Experience with Node.js and Express.js or NestJS
• Good understanding of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
• Experience with REST APIs, Git, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with authentication, security, CI/CD, and Agile practices
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
