About the role

Role Overview

SWAKIO is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to build scalable web applications end-to-end. You’ll work across modern frontend/backend development, APIs, databases, and cloud deployment.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize full-stack web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies
Build responsive, user-friendly UIs with high performance and cross-browser compatibility
Design and develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and write efficient, scalable queries
Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and QA to deliver high-quality features
Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on cloud platforms while following security and best coding practices

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of React.js, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript
Experience with Node.js and Express.js or NestJS
Understanding of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
Experience with REST APIs, Git, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Familiarity with authentication, security, CI/CD, and Agile

Qualifications

2–3+ years of professional full-stack development experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT (preferred)
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
