About the role

Role Overview

SWAKIO is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to build scalable web applications end-to-end. You’ll work across modern frontend/backend development, APIs, databases, and cloud deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize full-stack web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies
  • Build responsive, user-friendly UIs with high performance and cross-browser compatibility
  • Design and develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
  • Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and write efficient, scalable queries
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and QA to deliver high-quality features
  • Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on cloud platforms while following security and best coding practices

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of React.js, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript
  • Experience with Node.js and Express.js or NestJS
  • Understanding of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
  • Experience with REST APIs, Git, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Familiarity with authentication, security, CI/CD, and Agile

Qualifications

  • 2–3+ years of professional full-stack development experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT (preferred)
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
