About the role

Role Overview

Chamber is seeking a Staff Full Stack Engineer to design and build the core application platform used by care teams and healthcare providers. This is a hands-on role in a startup environment where you’ll tackle complex product and data challenges and help evolve architecture and engineering standards.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Chamber’s core web applications supporting operational workflows for care teams and providers
Build scalable, reliable full-stack components for complex healthcare workflows and large data volumes
Create high-quality web interfaces using React, Next.js, and Tailwind
Implement backend services and APIs using Node.js and related technologies
Develop and integrate AI-powered features and analytics to improve clinical workflows and insights
Collaborate with product, data, and infrastructure teams to define architecture and engineering best practices
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployments to ensure high-quality releases
Stay current with emerging technologies to continuously improve performance and capabilities

Requirements

8–12 years of professional software engineering experience with strong full-stack background
Proven ability to design and deploy production-grade web applications
Strong expertise in React, Next.js, and TypeScript
Backend experience developing services with Node.js (or comparable environments)
Proficiency in API design and implementing complex business logic
Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
Familiarity with healthcare data platforms and interoperability standards such as FHIR (preferred)
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Must be located in the U.S. and align with Eastern Time Zone working hours
