Senior Full-Stack Engineer at Spear AI to build the next-generation data management and AI platform for maritime domain awareness.
Responsibilities
- Build application components and user-facing pages.
- Implement historical and real-time data feeds using WebGPU.
- Design and develop data models using PostgreSQL and Apache Iceberg.
- Modify real-time pipelines using MQTT and Redpanda.
- Modify and integrate offline/batch pipelines using Dagster.
- Modify and integrate machine learning models/algorithms into the application.
- Improve local development and CI/CD workflows using modern tooling and GitHub Actions.
Required skills
- Strong full-stack engineering, with a focus on code quality (linting, formatting, full typing, and testing).
- Expertise in TypeScript.
- Expertise in CSS (e.g., Tailwind CSS).
- Experience with React and frontend frameworks such as Next.js.
- Familiarity with state management (e.g., React Context).
- Experience with Node.js, GraphQL, and REST APIs.
- Proficiency with SQL/PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Python.
Nice to have
- Experience with IoT devices and sensors.
- Digital signal processing experience.
- Geospatial analysis / GIS experience.
- Experience working in monorepos.
