Role overview

RubyLaw (Banyan Software portfolio) is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer for its Services Team to build and launch high-performance client websites powered by the RubyLaw CMS. You’ll create exceptional digital experiences and deliver interactive, design-faithful implementations.

Responsibilities

Build and launch client sites using RubyLaw’s flagship CMS
Develop a modern JavaScript-based full-stack solution across front-end and back-end
Translate high-end designs into performant, production-quality code
Collaborate with designers and other engineers to deliver interactive experiences
Work on complex projects for a leading law-firm client base; contribute to the RubyLaw product when possible

Requirements

3+ years of professional full-stack web development with JavaScript and React
Strong proficiency in JavaScript for API interaction, data querying, and data transformation
Deep ability to leverage core JavaScript together with React components
Strong problem-solving skills (data structures/algorithms) and understanding of implementation details that support UX
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have

Experience with design tools: Figma, Zeplin, or Sketch
Familiarity with AI coding tools such as Cursor or Claude Code
Knowledge of DevOps tools: Ansible, Kubernetes, Rundeck
