Role overview

Full-stack Engineer to augment RougeCare’s team as it builds a vision for red light therapy, including internet-connected devices and a personalized mobile app. This is a hands-on role focused on translating user needs into working software products through code.

Responsibilities

Lead development on the connected device backend
Implement new features to delight customers in the mobile application
Test and secure code for the connected platform

Qualifications

Mandatory

Strong, demonstrable proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and React/React Native
3+ years frontend web development experience
3+ years backend web development experience
Ability to work independently, efficiently using tools and taking ownership of technical solutions

Preferable

Experience with IoT and/or web-enabled devices
Experience with NoSQL databases and schema design
Mobile development experience
Degree in computer science, software engineering, or similar

Working conditions

Full-time, remote-first; team generally located in Montreal
